Paula is highly skilled in writing bids and tenders for community organisations and the not for profit sector. She has strong experience writing tenders and bids in the medical sector as well as healthcare and general bids. Paula is well regarded in the team for her work ethic and attention two detail. These are two attributes which are absolutely critical in writing successful tenders and bids.
Paula puts the work in and challenges clients for more information and more evidence so that the tender responses she works on can be successful. When working on a tender, there is sometimes a shock for the client in the first week or two when they send through content and input and receive an email from Paula an hour or two later asking for more evidence, more information and more content. Don’t worry – this may be uncomfortable but it’s a good thing. Its generally because Paula has reviewed what you have provided and seen an opportunity to gather more information on strengthen your response. It’s all about scoring well against the weighted criteria provided by the procurement team and it’s something Paula is particularly skilled in doing.
Another key skill of Paula’s is writing a compelling executive summary. This is critical especially in the private sector where executive summaries are just that. In the public sector, the responses are scored and weighted, however, in the private sector sometimes the executives will read the executive summaries, overide the procurement team and select a supplier. This is where Paula comes in with a punchy executive summary that gets the job done.
