Fixed fees
Tenders come in different forms of complexity, with government tenders usually being more demanding from a compliance perspective, and private tenders often requiring graphics and a focus on presentation. We provide all-inclusive fixed fees for most tenders. A general guide is provided below:
Small tender
Often a private company tender or even a small council tender where they haven’t asked for extensive supporting documentation.
Approximately 8 – 25 hours
Usually 10 – 15 pages (not including supporting documentation such as WHS and Environmental Policies)
Fee: $1,000 – $2,150
Medium Tender
A comprehensive tender usually with some supporting documentation. There may be questions on experience, capacity, methodology and CVs. Substantial writing and revision is generally required.
Approximately 25 – 45 hours
Up to 40 pages (not including supporting documentation such as WHS and Environmental Policies)
Fee: $2,150 – $6,250
Complex Tender
Over 45 hours

Tender or bid review
When you have developed the first draft of your tender, or have a response ready to submit, we can review it for you and make recommendations for improvement. We work off an hourly rate of $165 + GST per hour for this service. For transparency, we will always provide you a general estimate of the total hours required to review the document and will update you as we go.
Our Director, Jason Cooney, completes all of the reviews and will work through your document from start to finish. We use track changes and comments in Microsoft Word or Google. This is helpful as you are able to look through all of our amendments and comments and quickly see where you can improve your bid, as well as verify that we have in fact spent the required time working through the document.
Consulting, training and major projects help (day rate)
Hourly rates are usually the best way for us to charge for consulting and training but don’t worry, we will provide a ballpark figure of how many hours any proposal takes. Our training and consulting services see us train bid and tender teams or simply respond to a few important questions you may not know the response to.
For major project bids and tenders, we also work off a day rate. This is useful when we are working on large bids and tenders for corporations who are looking for help to supplement their in-house teams.

Helping you prepare for future tenders
When engaging a tender service like us, it’s a great idea to use the opportunity to prepare for future tenders. All the documents we create you get to keep. Most requests for proposals are similar in the questions they ask. It’s a great idea to develop a ‘Bid Library’ for your business where content is stored and can be easily accessed for completing future tenders.
