How can we help with your next tender or bid in 2026?
Write your tender
We will assist you to write your tender from start to finish. We can also assist you with specific questions you need assistance with. This helps if you are writing the bid in-house but need a tender consultant to assist with some questions you don’t know how to respond to or haven’t seen in the past.
Review your tender and provide feedback
We will provide constructive feedback on your bid. For example, we can review your draft response and ensure that your answers to each question are responsive to the question and will score well across all ‘parts’ of the question (as sometimes tender questions are complex and multifaceted). We will ensure you interpret the questions correctly including specific words in the questions such as ‘demonstrate’. We will also amend your case studies and experience to ensure they are tailored and on-point.
Design professional graphics
We will provide suggestions about where graphics may be incorporated to enhance your bid. We can sketch the graphics for your internal team to create – or alternatively, create the graphics for you. If we create graphics for you, our tender consultants will provide you with the core files so you can re-use those graphics for future tenders.
Create a bid and tender library
We can advise you of the best AI bid writing programs to use and help you implement them. We will also help you create a bid library so that future tenders are easy to create, refine, tailor and win!
A professional tender writing consultant for your business
Our team of professional bid and tender writers is led by Jason Cooney and we take a highly tailored approach to assisting you with tenders for your business. Our philosophy is simple: We want you to achieve short, medium and long term success through bids and tenders.
Helping you win more tenders quickly – the short term!
Our tender consultants will bring your tenders up to speed with best practice. You may engage us to write a tender for you or review your tender. We will provide as much feedback as possible to help you improve it and if you engage us to write your tender or bid from start to finish, we will do so to a high standard of quality.
We will help you write comprehensive case studies and CVs that are tailored to the opportunity – and will enhance any tailor any existing content you have. This is a short term solution for your business to help you win more government contract.
Helping you write tenders more efficiently – medium term!
When you have completed and successfully written a number of bids or tenders, then it’s definitely time to think about how to make your tender processes more efficient. This is where we see ourselves taking a more active and partnering role in the journey. Our professional tender writers don’t see working with our clients as a success if we help you win one or two tenders. We want to help you build up your internal capability with a bid library, help you take advantage of AI (responsibly) and empower your staff to better contribute to the tender writing process.
This is where we can assist you in the medium term. We can increase your win rate whilst decreasing your overall costs of tendering and hopefully put ourselves out of a job!
Jason Cooney, our Director, believes that it’s better to have more clients, that we advise on an as-needed basis, then a smaller number of existing clients whom we write a high volume of tenders for. The reason is simple. If, in the medium term, we have set up your tendering processes efficiently, we can help you win more tenders with little effort.
Whether you are a construction company, IT contractor or even community organisation, you can find efficiencies in your tendering process that help you win more tenders by allowing more time to tailor your bids and spend less time looking for content.
Writing winning tenders that make a profit – long term!
One of the key points in tendering and bidding is profit. Sometimes dropping your price to win a government contract is not a good move especially if it’s unprofitable in the medium to long term. You need a profit strategy for each of your tenders, and an overall profit strategy for your tenders and bids as a business.
It doesn’t matter if you are a businesses in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Darwin, Hobart, Canberra or regional towns and cities, you will need an effective pricing strategy to win tenders that combines long term profitability with market competitiveness.
Engage our team of expert tender consultants to guide you in your tendering journey and help you win in the short, medium and long term.
Bid and tender writing strategies for 2026 and beyond
Bid and tender writing strategies we recommend you employ in 2026 to win more bids include:
- Introducing Social Value as a win theme. Social value generally isn’t considered a win theme for tenders and bids and sometimes rightfully so. It isn’t related to core service. However, it is increasingly considered to be more important, particularly for government bids and sometimes it’s critical depending on the procurement personnel. Consider it for a win theme.
- Write your bid concisely and leverage on appendices. Procurement teams, especially in the government sector, are becoming more sophisticated and compliant. One of the key rules emerging is that procurement teams must read all the attachments and appendices. This is an opportunity to make your bid or tender more concise and leave additional information in the attachment if you are certain it will be read.
- Focus on long term, whole of contract cost. With procurement teams and buyers of goods and services becoming more sophisticated in 2026, whole of life cost is becoming increasingly relevant. You can focus on this in your bid, and if you have a solution that will save the client money over the longer term, ensure you explain the benefits of your solution and the future cost savings. This needs to be clearly spelled out in your proposal.
- Avoid overuse of AI. AI can be helpful for developing a bid or tender especially the first draft. However, you need to be careful that you tailor your response to the opportunity and do no use AI for the final version. This is especially the case where you have been requested not to and the procurement teams can use software to detect if your content is AI generated.
- Take a positive tone. This is nothing new. However, in order to write a winning tender or bid, you need to ensure a positive, can do tone is present throughout your proposal. This applies to your proposed methodology, previous experience and customer service plan (if applicable).
